Schroeder Valves GmbH & Co. KG, a specialist manufacturer of protective pump fittings, has moved to its new headquarters in Gummersbach near Cologne. For EUR 3.3 million, the company built a 4000 sq/m facility on a 10,000 sq/m plot of land. With this, Schroeder Valves has completed the much needed expansion.
The new, highly modern production facility offers more than twice as much space as the old factory. It houses the entire production cycle – from production planning and the high-bay warehouse, magazine, the welding shop, paint shop, assembly and quality control to shipping. The more than 30 machines are separated by wide aisles, allowing lots of room for the arrival and delivery of the material and products.
All fittings manufactured here are unique. Each individual product is tailored to the needs of the individual customer. These come from the chemical and petrochemical industries, power plant construction, offshore industries, the paper industry and metallurgical industry as well as from the field of ship loading and marine transport.
