Valve and Pipeline Equipment supplier UFB (Aberdeen, UK) has announced its appointment as agents in Scotland for AC Valves and Controls. UFB, through AC Valves and Controls exclusive importing and stocking agreement for the UK and Ireland with Ball Valve manufacturer PEKOS, has access to its full range of cast steel ball valves designed and manufactured in Spain.
TUV, DNV and Lloyds approved foundry. PEKOS ball valve stocks cover sizes 1/2″ to 12″ Flanged ANSI 150 and 300 Raised Face, full and reduced bore with ISO 5211 top flange for easy assembly of actuators and accessories. DIN PN 16/40 full bore are also stocked and 3 and 4 way valves are also available. The PEKOS manufacturing programme includes wafer pattern ball valves, steam jacketed ball valves and tank bottom valves. Standard materials include carbon steel WCC, stainless steel CF8M and cast iron. Special materials including LCC. Duplex and bronze are also available.
