Sea water and severe service valves

AMPO Valves has awarded a package of sea water and severe service valves for mining in Chile. Antofagasta Minerals is developing its Mining Project Esperanza in the Atacama Desert, Antofagasta Province, (Sierra Gorda area), 150km from Antofagasta, Chile. This is a USD 2300 million investment, with production projections of copper, gold, silver and molibdenum. Ampo/Poyam Valves has been chosen by Minera Esperanza as principal supplier for this project of: manual valves for sea-water transportation; motorized valves for sea-water transportation; and manual valves for severe service high and low pressure operation.
