Precision Polymer Engineering has released a multi-purpose perfluoroelastomer compound that is resistant to a range of chemicals and has a 14% compression set. Perlast G75M improves sealing in extreme conditions, including high speed rotation, high temperature and high pressure applications. G75M is particularly effective in mechanical seals and multi-substance chemical plants and can also be used in pumps, valves, couplings and fittings. It can be moulded into O-rings, any size up to 2m in diameter, and custom shapes. G75M’s modulus and hardness have been optimised to suit the majority of sealing applications.
