Entegris Inc. will begin delivering on an order for its distribution valves and fittings to a North American semiconductor manufacturer. The products, totalling nearly 600 valve stick assemblies with over 1800 valves and 4000 fittings, will be used to protect and transport critical fluids in the semiconductor manufacturer’s US facilities. Entegris will complete the product shipment in May 2002. The technological capabilities of the Entegris distribution valve played a large role in the selection process for this semiconductor manufacturer. After recent tests, the Entegris distribution valve was proven to withstand millions of cycles in chemical, vacuum and elevated temperature tests. These results greatly exceed the industry’s rigid qualification standards, making the valve ideal for use in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
