Seminars to solve valve problems

Severe service control valve manufacturer CCI is to run a severe service valve technology seminar (SSVTS) programme, aimed at solving common control valve problems through education. Organised by the control valve manufacturer’s senior engineering group, the seminar is presented on-site and free of charge for plant maintenance and operations personnel, engineers, planners and business managers. Drawing on CCI’s 40 years of dedicated severe service control valve engineering, the SSVTS considers going beyond maintenance and discusses the root causes of problems such cavitation, erosion, materials, noise and vibration that plague severe service applications. The seminar provides guidelines for specification and procurement, and assists plant personnel in determining if hardware failures may be related to improper application of a valve. Those interested in scheduling a presentation should contact Crystal Sebring at +1 949 858 1877.
