Sentinel Line

Dri-Air Industries has launched their new central conveying system for conveying dried resin to as many as 33 machines. The new Sentinel Line is available in 4 sizes ranging from 4 stations to 33 stations and includes all items except piping. The Series 4 package is suitable for loading blenders, or any combination of 4 hoppers or press mounted receivers. A panel mounted PLC with graphic display and keypad is used to adjust the amount of material delivered to each station as well as regulate purge times relative to conveying distance. This system is self-contained on a compact frame that can be located near the application. For larger systems up to 33 stations, the Sentinel Line utilizes a color touch screen that shows the operator at a glance the status of each receiver and pump such as on, off, filling, calling, or alarm. Receiver actuation, fill time, and cleanout time are set up through easy to navigate screens. Three receivers are available with capacities of .1, .4, and 1cu/ft of material for differing throughputs. The stainless steel receivers include a sight glass and proximity switch for volume control, pellet screen, and local switch for on/off control. The vacuum valves can be located on the receivers or on the common vacuum line and include a terminal strip for quick installation. All controls are 24 VDC eliminating special wiring to the control panel. The central pump station includes the powerful, quiet, vortex blower, three-bag central filter with blowback, and touch screen controls on a compact 20X30in footprint. The controls can be remotely mounted from the central system.
