SMC Corp (USA) now offers Series PF2A inline air flow sensors, and a wide range of digital air flow sensors to aid in measuring and controlling air consumption to promote energy savings in pneumatic systems. The Series PF2A inline air flow sensors feature an integral or remote digital display that shows cumulative or real-time flow rates, and digital & analog outputs that provide on/off and accumulated flow pulses for remote monitoring. PF2A sensors are installed in the main and branch air lines from 1/8” to 2” in diameter to monitor flow rates and detect leakage. The flow rates range from 1 – 12,000 l/min. The Series PPA digital hand-held manometer is also available to measure work-piece collision pressure, and to calculate flow rates for continuous system optimisation.
