In June 2011 SGS was awarded a contract, extending a contract originally assigned to SGS in 2005, to provide comprehensive Supply Chain Services for various international offshore projects by Samsung Heavy Industries.
Throughout the entire contract, scheduled for three years, SGS is performing comprehensive inspections of components, materials and equipment for drill ships, drilling rigs and floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels. Throughout the entire contract, SGS Industrial Services will be helping the client control the input of all the processes during the overall supply chain cycle.
With a team of highly skilled experts, SGS inspects components, materials and equipment for drill ships, drilling rigs and floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels as well as assessing suppliers and keeping track of delivery schedules.
