SIPOS Aktorik, a manufacturer of variable speed actuators for the water/waste water plant and power sector applications, has released a Bluetooth option for its actuator product range. The Bluetooth initiative provides a solution for data transfer, particularly in confined locations and challenging environments. The technology enables wireless communication between PC/laptop and actuators and is compatible with the company’s COM-SIPOS commissioning, diagnostic and visualisation software. Established as a sophisticated and customised actuation solution, the Bluetooth option further enhances SIPOS’ offer and, as it is an international wireless standard, it supports the company’s global customer base. The Bluetooth option for its SIPOS 5 flash actuators can be supplied with new orders or retrofitted to existing products.
