SIPOS Aktorik, manufacturer of variable speed actuators, has developed a turnkey solar solution designed to resolve the problem of power supply to remote locations. As a result of the solar system initiative, an actuation solution has been provided for a range of challenging applications including controlled irrigation of agricultural land, level control for reservoirs/river installations, drinking water, storm water systems and pipeline flow control. The solar actuation system from SIPOS does not rely on the grid and therefore offers a independent actuation solution.
