The Sitecna FR04 filter regulator has long been recognised as a robust and effective pressure-control valve on sites around the world and has recently been specified in the instrumentation package as part of the EUR 204M EPC contract won by Maire Tecnimont to develop a new LDPE plant for Slovnaft Petrochemicals in the Slovakian Republic.
The FR04 filter regulator has a wide range of options that make it suitable for applications where the ambient temperatures can vary as much as –55° C to +90° C, and comes with ATEX IIGD and GOST certification included as standard. The epoxy-coated aluminium bodies have a maximum pressure rating of 25Bar while the 316L stainless steel version carries a rating of 30Bar and is compliant with NACE MR01-75. Output pressure ranges of 2, 4, 8 and 10Bar are standard choices and filter element options range from 40 micron down to 0.01micron coalescent types with bowl designs covering manual or automatic drains.
Special constructions in exotic alloys such as hastelloy, duplex, monel or 6MO are possible, and high-build offshore paint finishes can be applied to both the aluminium and stainless steel constructions where required.
