Solent & Pratt has been awarded a contract by Novaspect Specialty Products of Chicago Illinois to provide high performance butterfly valves and actuators for the Upgrade Jet Engine Air Induction System Phase IV at Arnold Air Force Base in Tennessee. Solent & Pratt is a division of Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Corporation. The USD 1.2 million dollar contract consists of the production of 29 valves in sizes ranging from six to 72 inches, 150 and 300 ANSI classes with hydraulic or electric actuation. Based in the UK with sales and manufacturing facilities in Brecksville, Ohio, USA, Solent & Pratt manufactures high-performance and triple offset butterfly valves.
