Solent & Pratt wins Kristin contract

Solent & Pratt (Brecksville, Ohio, USA) has been awarded a contract by Statoil of Norway to provide high-performance butterfly valves and actuators for the Kristin Offshore Platform Project engineered and constructed by Aker-Kvaerner of Oslo, Norway. Solent & Pratt is a division of Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Corporation. The GBP 2.25 million contract consists of the production of 224 actuated High Performance Butterfly Valves and 286 manual valves in sizes ranging from 4–30 inches, in materials of carbon steel, 316 stainless steel, duplex stainless steel and titanium in both metal and Teflon seats.
