Sophisticated valve designs by GEMU

GEMU offers cleverly designed modern valves for filling and dosing processes and other challenging tasks. There are various requirements and demands placed on the design of valves depending upon the application and industrial sector for which it is being used. The type of valve and actuator must be matched to the right body material and selected based on the required dosing accuracy, the type of media in use, the aggregate state and the quantity that will need to be dosed or filled.

GEMÜ also offers solutions that are suitable for dosing gases, such as the GEMÜ 554 globe valve or the GEMÜ 660 diaphragm valve for filling processes, which can be used when expanding polystyrene foam or filling drinks. The switching speed is another key variable that needs to be taken into consideration apart from resistance to the medium used and the temperatures that will be reached in the process. Valves in the GEMÜ iComLine® series are used primarily in processes in which having an adequate resistance to media is just as important as the dosing output. Another highlight of the GEMU product range is that the GEMÜ SonicLine® flowmeter takes fully contactless ultrasonic measurements.
