Split-body ball valves

Belgium Ventiel has launched its latest generation of split-body ball valves designed for the chemical, petrochemical and pulp and paper industries. These valves have double packings and are made from PTFE inside and graphite on the outside, to avoid contamination of the fluid. The design includes safety features such as an anti-blow-out stem and cavity relief, as well as standard fire safety protocols. It is also now approved by TA Luft and certification is being sought from other industry/regulatory bodies. The valves can withstand pressure classes PN10/16 and PN40. The new range can be specified in various sizes and materials, ranging from DN15 up to DN200 in diameter. The ISO5211 Topflange and double nut execution should help facilitate easy automation of the valve.
