The solenoid-actuated flange spool valve for the modular valve construction has been extended with execution for use in very corrosive environments. In the “K8” version, all external metal parts of the valve are completely coated with zinc-nickel, which results in significantly higher corrosion protection (800 h in the salt spray test according to ISO 9227).
The valve can switch volumes up to 160 l/min with up to 350 bar and is available as a 2-way or 3-way function. An optional detent function enables valve actuation with a short electrical impulse, which greatly reduces energy consumption. The direct operated valve of nominal size NG10 is available as a 4/2-way and 4/3-way function with the designation WDMFA10_K8. It controls the direction of flow and thus in most cases the direction of movement or rotation of hydraulic actuators. Due to the high corrosion protection, it is suitable for use in harsh weather conditions.
