The new stainless steel process line module is the first in a new range from IFM Electronic and the first true field I/O module for process industries. Sealed to IP69K, this four-input/three-output module is the first AS-i module to withstand the rigours of a wash-down environment and is an ideal complement for the food-grade sensors from IFM Electronic. As part of the same range, a field connector for direct connection into the AS-i flat cable has also been developed as well as a IFM’s IND valve sensor, an As-i version 2.1 (A and B slave) valve sensor which allows valve control and feedback of 62 quarter-turn valves on one AS-i network.
