Stork lands Dutch gas contract

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has announced that Stork GLT (Groningen Long Term) has received a major follow-on contract from the Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij BV (NAM) to further renovate the Groningen gasfield (the Netherlands), including the installation of compressors. The gasfield has 29 clusters (production installations with a total of 296 wells), 18 of which fall under this agreement. NAM expects to invest over USD 800 million on this 8-year project. The consortium Stork GLT consists of Jacobs (design), Stork Industry Services (construction and maintenance management), Siemens Demag Delaval Turbomachinery (compressors), Siemens (compressor motors) and Yokogawa (instrumentation and automation).
