A roundtable was held in the third week of January 2024 in Rome with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the participation of the most relevant Italian Companies, Organizations, and Associations operating in Kazakhstan.
Sandro Malquori, PetrolValves CEO, presented the company and its commitment to playing an active role in the Republic of Kazakhstan’s economic growth, by supporting local capabilities and expertise build-up.
PetrolValves has been supplying its products to Kazakhstan for more than 30 years, in collaboration with local Operators and international Energy Companies, to develop some of the most challenging technology and breakthrough applications for the Karachaganak and Kashagan projects.
Today PetrolValves can offer advanced solutions in the field of valves and dedicated after-market services to the over 60,000 valves installed in-country, through its manufacturing and service technology center, inaugurated in 2022 in Aksai, West Kazakhstan region.
Through its local presence, PetrolValves has developed local capability for testing, assembly, repair, and field services on a large variety of valves, including API 6D & 6A for sour services (high H2S content), and has deployed the “Valve New Life Program” consisting in the refurbishment of any PetrolValves and/or third-party valves and actuators.
