Midland-ACS’s new sub-zero range of sub-zero range of stainless steel valves and air service units are designed for applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries, and also in the offshore oil and gas sector where operating temperatures can be as low as –500C. Manufactured entirely from 316 stainless steel, the sub-zero range is suitable for wellhead control applications. It includes air filters and regulators, combined air service units, spool and poppet valves, and ancillaries such as flow regulators, needle valves, non-return valves, quick exhaust and shuttle valves. All of these components operate with a range of fluids including air, inert gas and sweet (natural) gas and are rated for outdoor use, offering ingress protection against heavy seas with on deck rating for platforms and shipping applications.
