SVS (Specialist Valve Services), specialising in the supply of valves, actuators and ancillary equipment for clients in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, has recently launched a new TWIN DBB (Double Block & Bleed) valve, in collaboration with INDRA, so as to eliminate as many leak paths as possible and keep compact. SVS has remained committed to the development of new products with its highly experienced engineering department.
SVS has developed the TWIN DBB (Double Block & Bleed) valve for a customer for the Annulus air gap from the wellhead. The valve was initially attached to the tree via the flanged connection which within inlaid has 2 ports. The valves internally were used for 2 functions, the first was set to monitor and send a signal to the pressure transmitter and the second being for drain purposes, which allowed an instrument connection for a further DBB to be attached.
