Technip-Coflexip wins Kristin contract

Technip-Coflexip, through its Norwegian affiliate Technip Offshore Norge AS, has been awarded by Statoil an EPCI (engineering, procurement, construction, installation) contract for the installation of the infield flowlines, umbilicals and subsea structures at the Kristin field. The contract, valued above EUR 60 million, includes: Installation of four manifolds, 39km of 10″ production flowlines (13% Cr) w/direct electrical heating cables, 22 km of 12″ oil export line to Asgard C, 16 km umbilical/service line and 26 km fibre-optic cable, tie-in spools and subsea tie-in to templates. All linepipe, umbilicals and manifolds are supplied by Statoil. The project management and engineering for the work will be performed in Oslo, Norway, and the fabrication of the flowline will take place at Technip Offshore Norge’s welding base in Orkanger. Several of the Technip-Coflexip’s vessels will be used for the offshore installation activities.
