AMOT Controls has introduced their redesigned and significantly enhanced the G Valve three-way temperature control valve, making it more economic and compact while also reducing unit weight and installation costs, and at the same time upgrading performance with a 70% increase in flow capability. A new enhanced control system has also been introduced to further improve this valve. It comprises a new PID process controller incorporating temperature dead band, remote output alarms as standard and logic outputs to drive 25A solid state relays having significantly higher performance than standard relays. These SSRs provide excellent transient performance and switching life while also eliminating the arcing associated with traditional relays thanks to their zero volt switching. A temperature sensor is also included. The AMOT G Valve offers rapid and accurate regulation of fluid temperatures to 100°C (212°F) with a maximum flow rate of 3000m³/hr, which is 70% higher than previous versions. It has a high flow rate with low pressure drop in comparison to other valves of equivalent size used for the same applications.
