TempLowHT desuperheater

Tyco Valves & Controls has meet the requirements for higher temperatures of modern power plant designs with an advanced extension to its range of TempLow steam desuperheaters. Designed for high cycling applications, the TempLowHT desuperheater provides precise and economical steam temperature control. The TempLowHT desuperheater operates within 6C from setpoint in elevated temperatures up to 621C. It features a design that relocates all moving and welded components to an air cooled, upper portion of the valve. This eliminates the need for sliding trim parts within the hot zone of the steam pipe for extended lifespan prevention of component fatigue. The TempLowHT desuperheater is constructed with low maintenance in mind. A Stellite® seat provides long life, tight shut-off and a forged body with stainless steel internal components significantly reduces the risk of corrosion. The product is also adaptable to changing needs with an injection probe that can be unscrewed from the body for easier capacity changes without the need to replace the stem or seat. The design also enables pressure drop to be taken across the nozzles rather than the seating surfaces, providing a longer trim life.
