Tenmat extends temp capability of its bearings

The standard range of Feroglide bearings and thrust washers have been used by valve manufacturers for many years from temperatures of -196C to +180C. The new 300C product has been developed to suit the requirements of valve makers for bearings with low coefficient of friction at high temperatures. These are typically used for process gasses and steam. The new high temperature bearings have been validated by valve makers and users. Feroglide bearings are used in ball and butterfly valves because of their low coefficient of friction, high load carrying capability, and long wear life. The bearings are supplied in stainless steel and Inconel® and are compliant to NACE.
