Punj Lloyd Group, a global engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) conglomerate has won its first offshore project in Thailand. The contract, valued at INR 574crore, was secured from PTT Public Co. Ltd. Punj Lloyd will install three compressor units for the platform compressor station on the PTT Riser Offshore Platform at water depths of up to 80m in the Gulf of Thailand. After the onshore fabrication of compressor modules, they will be installed offshore on the existing PTT Riser Platform. The major equipment of the Compression Facility will be Gas Compressors, Aftercoolers and Gas Turbine Generator with all other associated piping, structural and electrical & instrumentation work.
