Supplied in the UK by Icore International, new Thread-Lok quick connect valved couplings from Parker Hannifin Corp., Stratoflex Products Division, have been designed to provide aerospace fluid handling systems with quick disconnect capability, self-sealing and increased safety by way of visual and tactile indication of full engagement. The thread-together design of the couplings provides the necessary security for high-pressure applications. With a stainless steel construction, Thread-Lok couplings have an operational pressure range of vacuum to 276bar. Other material selections are also available for low-pressure and high-pressure, up to 350bar. The Thread-Lok range meets or exceeds all requirements of the MIL-C-25427 and AS1709 SAE aerospace standards and is available with a range of accessories including protective dust enclosures, pressure caps and plugs and built-in relief valves.
