Tridak’s new Model 455 dispensing valve features micrometer control over the flow rate, ensuring that materials are dispensed repeatedly and accurately. The Model 455 valve is a pneumatically operated, two-way pinch valve that comes with a patented over-stroke adjustment, positive shut-off, and disposable inert wetted parts, enabling users to obtain millions of cycles from a single piece of tubing. This valve can be used as a dispense valve or as an in-line, two way (on-off) valve with adjustable flow. Teflon tubing is the recommended standard for this valve, but it can be quickly converted to use other tubing materials such as silicone, urethane, polyethylene, or vinyl tubing. The Model 455 dispensing valve was designed to be integrated into automated assembly lines and can be fitted with a number of different style dispense tips and spray nozzles. This valve can dispense a large assortment of low-to-medium viscosity materials including adhesives, UV resins, flux, gels, acids, sealants, cyanoacrylates, lubricants, paints, medical media, solvents, RTV, anaerobics, and alkalis.
