Trumbull stainless steel chainwheels allow operation of overhead valves by means of a slight pull on the chain. Universal design allows chainwheel to be clamped to handwheel or pinned directly to valve stem.
Designed for corrosive environments, the stainless steel chainwheels are type 316 investment steel castings which are ideal in chemical processing, outdoor installations, or salt water environments. To prevent serious injury, the use of the Secondary Safety Restraint System is recommended.
Attached to a valve stem or actuator, position indicators clearly show the position of the valve so operators do not over-open or over-close and break the valve stem. Position indicators are constructed on non-corrosive high strength Delrin plastic. Available in 3 models of 57, 275 and 870 turns.
