Trunnion valves for oil and gas pipelines

KF Industries, a division of Circor International, is now offering to the oil and gas pipeline market its Series P3 trunnion-mounted ball valve line directly from its ISO-certified, Oklahoma City-based manufacturing plant. KF’s Series P3 valves are available from 2 inches to 48 inches in ANSI 150-1500. These forged body valves are designed to meet the most severe and demanding pipeline applications and they meet industry standards such as API 6D, API 6A, API6FA fire-safe certification, API Q 1 and NACE MR01-75. KF Series P3 Valves feature a three-piece bolted body design that has been a staple in the gas industry for many years. This three-piece design allows for maximum flexibility, and the end configurations can be changed quickly and efficiently to provide excellent, responsive service to oil and gas pipeline customers. KF further offers a variety of enhancement features including stem extensions, weld pups, valve automation, extended piping for buried service, tar set coating as well as other value added options. The heart of the Series P3 Valves lies in the spring loaded seat design, which provides a tight seal at lower differential pressures allowing the line pressure to effect a piston action which forces the seat to the ball for a “bubble tight” seal. The double piston seats give a customer the benefit of having two seals within one valve.
KF Industries offers a complete line of ball valves for oil and gas applications ranging from the wellhead to the pipeline. From its Worldwide Distribution Center located a few miles from the KF manufacturing plant, KF offers its customers quick delivery of a wide range of valve sizes and designs.
