Model WTA-2 Solenoid Operated Inert Isolation Valves feature unique elastomeric seals which resist damage from particulate matter that would destroy typical inert valves. Hudson, MA – Clark Solutions introduces the Model WTA-2 series of inert isolation valves. Available in a choice of wetted materials suitable for use with aggressive media being transferred at temperatures ranging from 5-50°C, WTA-2 Inert Isolation Valves are solenoid operated, feature PTFE isolation diaphragms, and a unique Perfluor or Viton soft seal valve seat design.
The unique, soft seal valve seat design feature of WTA-2 series valves is particularly useful in analytical and clinical chemistry applications where inert valve materials are needed but particulate matter may be present in the fluid stream. Particulate matter typically damages valve seats resulting in valve leakage. The Soft Seal design feature present in Model WTA-2 series valves virtually eliminates this problem. WTA-2 Inert Isolation Valves are available in two models. Model WTA-2R valves are designed with molded PPS bodies and Model WTA-2K valves are designed with molded PEEK bodies. Versions with PTFE bodies are also available as an option. Both models are available in 12 Vdc or 24 Vdc voltage configurations.
