TWTG wins Shell tender for wireless sensor

TWTG is excited to announce that they have won a tender by Shell Nederland. The I-IoT hardware company based in Rotterdam has now delivered the first 100 NEON Vibration Sensors to Shell’s Pernis Refinery. TWTG, a Dutch scale-up, is proud to have achieved this milestone, especially in the highly competitive landscape of LoRaWAN-based Vibration Sensors.
The project will demonstrate the benefits that condition-based asset monitoring can bring to industrial sites, by detecting bearing faults on pumps or other rotating equipment early and being able to act upon detailed information, before any issues can arise, hence reducing downtime and eliminating potentially hazardous situations.
In many industrial sites, there are a variety of assets being used regularly, without clear and timely information about their health status. The future of asset performance management is changing. It is becoming ever more digitised, with data collected from Industrial IoT sensors providing insight and knowledge.
The TWTG NEON product range supports all industrial customers moving towards LoRaWAN as the Industrial IoT network of the future.
