Tyco Valves & Controls will be displaying its range of control and instrumentation equipment in Stand B41, Hall 15 at Interkama 2001, Düsseldorf Messe, 24–28 September 2001. Tyco will be presenting its new advanced AVID range of control accessories, which provides a total, integrated control system from one source. The range incorporates Position Monitors, Analogue (Electro Pneumatic) and ‘Smart’ Positioners, Control Position Monitors and Network Monitors which communicate on all the major network protocols, leading a market migration to more intelligent valve interfaces. Products include the ZR Plus, designed specifically for the control and position monitoring of automated valves in general purpose or hazardous area applications; the EaziCal IR range of non-intrusive analogue positioners, which makes the often awkward task of calibrating valve positioners significantly easier and safer; and the SmartCal intelligent positioner, which utilises the HART protocol to provide the basis of diagnostic interpretation of valve performance and status.
