ControlAir has introduced the Type 6000 high flow volume booster to deliver high air flow capacity and fast action throttling control. It is available in aluminium or 316 stainless steel construction. The Type 6000 is a one-to-one signal to output relay that when used with a positioner and actuator, is designed to increase the stroking speed of control valves. An integral bypass valve provides system stability, whilst allowing normal positioner airflow and normal valve actuation with small input changes. Type 6000 applications include actuation of control valves used in chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and food processing markets. Other OEM applications include printing presses, textile machinery, tire machinery, paper machinery and paint spray systems. A maximum signal pressure of 150psig to the volume booster provides output pressure of up to 150psig with a flow capacity of 115scfm. Temperature limits are -400 degrees F to 710 degrees F). Type 6000 comes with a choice of two output ports, 0.05inch or 0.75inch NPT.
