Valcor Engineering opens new vibration lab

Valcor Engineering Corporation, a designer and manufacturer of custom precision fluid and motion controls for space, aircraft, ground vehicles, nuclear, and scientific and industrial applications, has expanded its in-house capabilities with the addition of a new vibration laboratory.

The new facility provides comprehensive and efficient testing, eliminating the extended lead times associated with external test providers. Its capabilities include two high-performance vibration machines; full three-axis (X, Y, Z) sine sweep and random vibration testing; active hydraulic or pneumatic flow through test articles during vibration; the ability to thermally condition units under test; and in-house report generation.

The vibration lab is led by a senior dynamics and environmental test engineer and supported by a dedicated team of technicians operating across multiple shifts to ensure maximum availability and responsiveness. This in-house resource enables Valcor to accelerate development timelines, meet or exceed production schedules, and maintain rigorous quality standards. Vibration testing services are available for both Valcor products and customer components.
