Valmet strengthens customer support for mining industry

Valmet is strengthening its flow control solutions related service capabilities by opening a new service center in Antofagasta, Chile. The new service center improves the availability of mission-critical flow control solutions and services to Valmet’s customers in the area and further expands the offering to the mining and metals industry. Valmet entered into the flow control business in April 2022, when the industrial flow control company Neles was merged into Valmet. Neles is now a Flow Control business line in Valmet.

The new service center will handle the full scope of flow control services, including replacements and maintenance of valves, pumps, and third-party equipment. It will enable agile delivery of critical spare and wear parts as well as digital tools and expert services for the entire product and plant life cycle. The service center also serves as a customer training facility.
