Valve for potable water

American Valve has introduced its model 3700, featuring an epoxy-coated cast iron body and the same patented Teflon fused ball as the 4000 series. It inhibits build-up that accumulates on unprotected ball surfaces and aims to prevent premature valve failure. It has the same ANSI B16.10 end-to-end dimensions as flanged gate and plug valves. Model 3700 is designed for backflow prevention devices and potable water applications with USC, UL and NSF approvals pending. All model 3700 valves are rated at 200psig, and are available in full port from sizes 2in to 8in.
