Valves “deep-frozen”

Control-valve specialist the ARCA-Valve-Group, Tönisvorst, has delivered an order worth several hundred thousand Euro to Tarkosal/North-West Siberian Lowland. The buyer was the Meshregionkomplekt Moskau, one of the biggest companies of the Russian petrol industry.
Temperatures as low as minus 60 degrees Celsius demand valves that resist extreme weather conditions. 30 valves type 6H7-P1, diameter DN25 to DN 200 and pressure rating PN 250 were required. Partly multi-stage trims for high pressure drops were chosen and all equipped with a strong electric actuator for this special order. Material qualified for low temperature standing was solid cast steel of the cold resisting type group GS21Mn5.
For the export to Russia the GOSTGOR TECHNADSOR-licence of the national mining authority is obligatory and ARCA-Regler GmbH is a qualified and certified producer under this licence.
