French-manufactured Dresser Masoneilan control valves are now fitted with James Walker’s Supagraf Control gland packing to meet VOC emission control levels when tested to the ISO 15848 protocol. This follows close collaboration between Masoneilan and James Walker to meet the requirements in tests carried out by CETIM at Nantes, France. ISO 15848 specifies testing procedures for the evaluation of external leakage of valve stem seals (or shaft) and body joints of isolating valves and control valves intended for application in volatile air pollutants and hazardous fluids. The Masoneilan control valves have been certified to ISO 15848 Class B, CC2, at temperatures from -29C to +425C.
