Valves for Scottish oil terminal

UFB (Process Control Solutions) has completed the supply of 150 bellows seal gate valves for installation in the steam system at the Sullom Voe Oil Terminal on Shetland. Lerwick Engineering and Fabrication, contracted by BP to carry out the refurbishment of the system, placed their order for the Class 800 Welded Bonnet Valves with UFB Limited in June of this year. LEF, offering general engineering and fabrication services, operate from their Greenhead Base at Gremista. Since 2002 LEF have held the contract, awarded by BP, to supply off-site fabrication and on-site welding services at the Sullom Voe Terminal. Sullom Voe Oil Terminal was built between 1973 and 1982.
