On June 10th this year, the Valvitalia Group Chairman and CEO Salvatore Ruggeri announced that the Group had launched the manufacture of two lines of control valves. Valvitalia’s new rotary and linear designs are capable of handling any kinds of fluids, such as gas, steam, liquid, etc. “Following increasing inquiries for customers we are pleased to announce our new control options,” stated Mr Ruggeri. “The range includes rotary control ball valves and rotary control butterfly valves which have special designs to prevent cavitation. Further control valve designs include the desuperheating rotary and linear control valves, which are ideal for turbine by-pass service, as well as flow control valves, featuring top guide and cage multi-path trim. And of course we have the flexibility to produce special control valves on request. ”The new valves were designed at Valvitalia’s new offices in Busto Arsizio (near Milan) and are being produced at the Tormene Gas Technology facility.
