Mr P.L. (Peter) Rietberg has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of the Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group as of 1 September 2007. On the same date an Executive Committee has been installed, which is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. The following persons have been appointed as members of the Executive Committee: Mr J.M. (Joop) Sassen, Chairman; Mrs M.A.L.W.J. (Maureen) van Engelen; Mr R. (Robert) van der Weck; and Mr W.F. (Wil) Livius. The Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group is an international trading company specializing in steel pipes, pipe components and valves. The company is active in virtually every branch of industry. The foundation for the company was laid in 1924. The Group currently has 33 branches spread throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and North America.
