In his presentation, Professor Masala shed light on the framework conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and addressed possible long-term consequences for world politics.

“Over the next four years, we will have to deal with the implications of the new geopolitical situation for the global economy together with the executive board,” emphasized Wolfgang Burchard, Managing Director of the VDMA Valves Association. “In parallel, the topics of digitalization and sustainable business are driving us and will require a rethink in many areas. This poses numerous challenges for the medium-sized valve industry, but the sector believes it is well prepared for them.”
