VESTA® Tank bottom valves

GEA Tuchenhagen now offers VESTA® Tank bottom valves – based on the concept of single-seat tank bottom valves with PTFE bellows – in sizes from DN 10 to DN 65. The extended program now includes the following sizes: DN 32, 40, 50, 65 (DIN pipe standard), ISO 42.4, 48.3, 60.3 (ISO pipe standard), and OD 11/2in, 2in, 21/2in, 3in (OD pipe standard). The extended VESTA® range of valves is available for manual operation, with NC/NO pneumatic actuators made from synthetic material or stainless steel (can be equipped with T.VIS® monitoring systems) and in various other housing variants. The valves are used to shut off liquid media at vessels or tanks. They are preferably installed at the lowest point of the tank bottom. Their characteristic feature is shut-off at tank bottom level without any sump. The pocket-free design enables complete draining of the vessel and optimal CIP/SIP cleaning. The valves are also suitable for confined spaces. They are available in various designs to suit different applications, for instance with additional valve for CIP/SIP or draining with front-flush shut-off (pocket-free). VESTA® Tank bottom valves can be supplied with a welded-in housing as well as with detachable flange-on housing. Housing variants with one or two outlets for ring mains are also available.
