Vexve strengthens acquires Danish valve manufacturer Frese A/S

Vexve Oy (Vexve) has signed an agreement to acquire Denmark-based valve manufacturer Frese A/S (Frese) from the founding family. Established in 1944, Frese has become the leading manufacturers of high-quality dynamic balancing valves in Europe. Frese employs ca. 250 persons with headquarters and main production facilities located in Slagelse, Denmark.

Frese’s dynamic balancing valve offering enables improved energy efficiency in hydronic networks, for example, in non-residential buildings and district energy networks – positively contributing to European and global climate targets by reducing excess energy consumption related to heating and cooling. The complementary district energy offering will further strengthen Vexve’s globally leading position in district energy valves in key geographical regions, especially in Western Europe. Frese’s highly competitive production capabilities and product portfolio, together with its strong foothold in the Central European markets, will accelerate Vexve’s growth as the leading provider of mission-critical valve solutions in the transition to a low-carbon future. Vexve’s combined turnover after the completion of the transaction will be ca. EUR 200M.
