Cairn Energy (Pte) Ltd has awarded a multi-million dollar contract to Virgo Europe SpA for supply of TriTork Triple Offset Valves. The valves will be manufactured in Virgo’s Milan Plant and would include sizes 36” #150, 36”#300 & 48”#150. The valves will be both pneumatically and motor operated and will be installed in Cairn’s Bhogat Terminal in Rajasthan, India. Virgo India will be supplying the fireboxes for the pneumatically operated valves. Virgo currently manufactures Triple Offset Valves in various materials, in 3 in thru 48 in sizes, in pressure ratings up to Class 900. These valves are used in various process lines, storage tanks, and cryogenic and high temperature applications.
