Assured Automation has announced a new line of manual valves with limit switches. Manual valve assemblies can be virtually constructed with proximity sensing limit switches for applications that require switch feedback on manual valves using Assured Automation’s online Configurator which allows customers to build, view and price manual valve assemblies online. First, the valve series is selected. Choices include 2-way full port valves, 3-way diverter ball valves, flanged ball valves and resilient seated butterfly valves. Next, end connections, line size and seal materials are specified. Limit switch selection includes inductive proximity sensors, weatherproof switches as well as explosion proof and weatherproof switches. Fieldbus systems are also available upon request. Once the virtual assembly is completed, the customer can view a color image of their final product accompanied by a model number, product description and total cost.
