VYC Industrial has announced a renewal of its range of disc valves by incorporating gray cast iron and expanding their sizes to DN 250 and DN 300. These disc valves use a centering ring placed between flanges according to DIN and UNE (PN6, 10, 16, 25 and 40), ASA (ANSI) (PSI-150 and 300) and other standards (NF, BS, etc.).
The valves are used in a variety of applications and installations (hydraulic, pneumatic, heating, steam, chemical, food) and are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of Directive 97/23 / EC which is a EC verification of valves is certified by TÜV International Group. The materials used include the new pearlite gray cast iron, brass and also carbon and stainless steel.
The new disc valve features a long assembly (reduced in accordance with EN 558), a minimum droop and an ability to prevent water hammer closing at zero pressure when completely sealed during fluid reversal. The degree of tightness provided exceeds the requirements of EN 12266-1 and it also allows easy mounting in any position.
