Wandfluh’s flange spool valves for the modular valve construction have been extended with execution for use in very corrosive environments. The valve can switch volumes up to 80 l/min with up to 350 bar and is available as a 2-way or 3-way function. An optional detent function enables valve actuation with a short electrical impulse, thus reducing energy consumption.
With the option “K8”, all external metal parts of the valve are completely zinc-nickel coated for enhanced corrosion protection (800h in salt spray test according to ISO 9227). The direct operated valve of nominal size NG6 is available as a 4/2-way and 4/3-way function with the designation WDMFA06_K8. The valve controls the direction of flow and thus the direction of movement or rotation of hydraulic actuators. Due to its high corrosion protection, it is mainly used in applications with permanently changing weather conditions.
